On Friday, Leah Straub will be competing in the Individual National Swivel Competition. She won the State Championship (our regional tournament) a few weeks ago. Mad-City’s jump team will also be competing in the Team Jump Competition.
On Saturday, Mad-City will be skiing second (after the Rock Aqua Jays) and will likely take to the water sometime between 9 am and 9:30 am. Since this is a tournament, our actually start time may be earlier or later, it depends on how the long the show before us is and if there are any safety or weather delays.
If you are interested in cheering us on in person, Shorewood Park is about 75 minutes from the east side of Madison. The tournament has free admission and food and beverages are available on site. There is usually a small charge for parking on site. For directions to the tournament site, follow this link:
If you can’t make it in person to watch us compete, the team competition is being webcast. Follow the link below to visit the webcast site.
