Join us on the shores of Lake Monona for an event featuring skiers from teams around the country! The day will include show skiing, elite daredevil jumpers, food, beer, live music, and entertainment for the kids in downtown Madison at Law Park.

TRIGON OF JUMP Overview

 

These Duos Freestyle Jump contests simplify the team aspect of freestyle jumping. Instead of being focused on having the biggest team or the most people off the ramp at once, athletes are able to put more emphasis on style, execution and presentation of each jump. The pair who earns the most points on the tour will be named Trigon of Jump champions and win “everything but the skis” -- this includes a custom Eagle jumpsuit, Masterline rope + handle, Wiley’s bindings, helmet and more.

THE DETAILS

 

• Each team earns points depending on their placement in each series stop. First place will earn 100 points, each subsequent placement earns ten points less (2nd = 90 pts, 3rd = 80 pts, and so on).​

 

• Each hosting stop will decide their own athlete application process, judging criteria, number of jumps per team, time limit, registration fee and prizes per tour stop. Each series stop upholds the following two contest rules: 

  • Two jumpers must be on the water.

  • At least one skier must go over the ramp.

• If there is a tie at the end of the series, the tie breaker will go to the team that earned higher podium finishes across the three events.

 

THE PRIZE

 

• Each member of the first place team for the Mad-City’s Flyman Freestyle at the Rough Water Open will receive a Flyman slalom jump ski.

• The first place team for the Mad-City’s Flyman Freestyle and Rock Aqua Jays’ Rock River Night Jump receive an automatic seeding into semi-finals.

• Each Trigon of Jump overall champion wins “Everything but the Skis,” presented by Twin Lakes Marine. This includes a custom Eagle Jumpsuit, Masterline rope + handle, Wiley’s Bindings, gloves and a jump helmet, among others.
